  1. I learned that 25% of students would talk to friends.its not fair because there were only 16 7th graders but 19 took the survey.

  7. There are only sixteen students in 7th grade, and there are two missing from 8th grade. Two 8th graders clicked 7th grade on their surveys. My teacher told me there are only sixteen 7th graders. No it is not this imformation proves that.

  9. When joey said, "a graph means the percentage of the meaning of a number of something your working on !!" I at first was confused. But then I looked at the graph. Twelve people like to visit with friends after school. The number 12 is 25% of all the students who completed the survey, so the graph is showing "the percentage of the meaning of a number" -- the graph shows the number 12 (students who like visiting with friends after school) and tells us the meaning of that 12 students is a percentage: 25%. Does that make sense now? It helps me. SRE

Sometimes people choose the wrong things so our information might not be acurate.
The 7th graders have 19 people in their class, which is 40 percent.

I think the kids get mixed up because there aren't 19 7th graders.
Almost all of the 5-8th graders like playing sports after school

  13. Ania Graph A!

    1. I learned how to do percentages and What they mean.
    2. I learned that you have to multiply by 100.
    Example: 12/48x100=25%

    Ania Graph B!

Survey's aren't always correct. There could be a mistake that makes them incorrect. The grpah says there are 19 7th graders when there really isn't.

    Graph A,
17 kids like to play sports after school. You can get the percent by dividing and multiply.
    EXAMPLE-17/48x100=35%.

    Graph B,

Surveys aren't always corrected. And sometimes you make mistakes on a graph. We have 12 kids in 5th grade

    1 penny is 1% of $1.00

    Jane graph b

  18. Only 17 people are active,12 people visit friends,9 people earn money,7 people use computers,3 people talk on the phone. So that means not all of the students are active.

COMPARE:The left chart has more people that like
    (35%)
    sports than the right one.(NYC)(18%)

FAIR:They both have good facts and they both got 35% and they also got a good readable chart.
